Carleton PIRG has served students since 1981.
Carleton PIRG provides students with advocacy, services, bursaries and grants. CPIRG is funded by both graduate and undergraduate students.
Currently graduate students are being asked to vote on the continuance of the graduate student fee.
Carleton PIRg has embarked on increasing services offered to students despite student fees not reaching the PIRG. This includes increased funding for grants, working groups, student jobs and general community funding. GRaduate students represent approximately 1/3 of Carleton PIRG’s budget, and a loss in this referendum would significantly harm the PIRG’s ability to provide services.
